Managing Agent for a major Insurance Company.
•Responsible for the retrieval, storage and sale of all damaged
vehicles in eight states to wholesale buyers.
•Responsible for implementing wholesale and retail marketing and
sales plans, while ensuring the efficient operation of all sales,
operating and administrative functions of an Auto Recycling Facility
in Louisiana and a Truck Recycling Facility in Texas.

North Texas Insurance Auction 2001 to 2002
Insurance salvage auto auction providing specialized services to
insurance companies for the retrieval, storage and sale of damaged
vehicles to wholesale buyers.
•Responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, financial planning
and analysis, financial accounting, management and business
metrics reporting, and all general accounting functions reporting to
the Chairman of the Board.
•Assisted with marketing approach and start up operations.
Within 12 months of completion and startup, assisted with Due
Diligence and the selling of the company to the industry’s largest
publicly held competitor-Copart, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPRT)
Regional Controller
Greenleaf, LLC. 1999 to 2001
Automotive recycling/reclamation subsidiary of Ford Motor
Company. Acquired AAA Small Car World and five other operations
in Texas from Ron Sturgeon with over 30 locations nationwide.
•Responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, financial planning
and analysis, financial accounting, management and business
metrics reporting, and all general accounting functions for six Texas
locations.
•Responsible for the integrity of financial information and systems
for one of the largest Auto Salvage Facilities in the United States.
•Recruited and trained staff and upgraded financial and
administrative infrastructure to meet the requirements of these six
Texas Auto Salvage Facilities achieving over 50% growth in sales in
18 months.
•Member of the Financial Advisory Committee, helping to design and
report best practices, assisted in operating decisions, and
integration of over 23 other interstate facilities.
Controller
AAA Small Car World Inc. 1994 to 1999
One of the largest auto recycling businesses in the United States,
with over 140 employees. Gross revenues of over $14 million. After
20 years of successful operation, the business was sold to Ford
Motor Company’s, Greenleaf, LLC subsidiary.
• Responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, financial planning
and analysis, financial accounting, management and business
metrics reporting, and all general accounting functions for six Texas
locations.
• Facilitated conversion of Yard management System from Auto Info
to Pinnacle. Tested and helped revise the first true multi-yard
Pinnacle version.
• Ensured compliance with reporting requirements in the company’s
successful in house, Regulation D Private Placement raising one
million dollars in capital.
• Administered diligence for various acquisitions, and the sale of the
company to Ford Motor Company.
• Hired and managed geographically dispersed staff of differing
cultures and weaved them into teams.
• Initiated and developed in-house training programs that enabled
timely and cost-effective delivery of end-user training.
• Implemented the first annual budget. Orchestrated budget process
with all departments and senior management concluding in the
presentation of a final budget approved by the CEO.
• Implemented weekly forecasting of financial results versus budget
with Bank and Senior Management quarterly and annual consensus
expectations.
• Designed or helped design several performance pay programs to
include delivery pay per stop. These performance pay programs
increased efficiency, lowered cost and increased customer
satisfaction.

• Responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, financial planning
and analysis, financial accounting, management and business
metrics reporting, and all general accounting functions for a solid
waste hauling company and a Landfill with over 48 million dollars in
annual revenue.
• Member of Acquisition Team assisting with diligence for various
acquisitions of other companies.
• Designed and install performance pay lowering costs, and
increasing efficiency.
